I do a good bit of lap swimming (see goals - lower left) so I have lots of time to think about it. I routinely see athletic folks who can't swim, or swim poorly + often wonder why I find it so easy - I'm not particularly athletic. This blog is about what I'm learning about swimming dynamics + some fun stuff too.

Great story, great hero ... but what's the deal with the reporter standing in front of a crappy hotel pool when it appears this happened at someone's house shown in the video.
I simply love your blog! As a homeowner in Fremont who has a swimming pool, my husband and I are constantly on the look out for sites which address general swimming concerns, as our five-year-old daughter, Isabel, loves being in our pool all the time and we want to ensure that she has a safe and enjoyable swim each and every time.
