I do a good bit of lap swimming (see goals - lower left) so I have lots of time to think about it. I routinely see athletic folks who can't swim, or swim poorly + often wonder why I find it so easy - I'm not particularly athletic. This blog is about what I'm learning about swimming dynamics + some fun stuff too.
For your safety, all posts + comments are musings + tips that have worked for me - opinion only. For the record, I strongly suggest following Red Cross swim-safety protocols.

Best Door to an Indoor Pool Ever
Have you ever tried to sneak into a pool when it was closed? It's usually not too difficult. This might challenge you a bit more.

Hahaha...that is great. I would love to know where that is. Great photo
ReplyDeleteIs that the pool for the president? Since this is the internet, I will spill some beans. I actually did sneak into a pool once. It was at a hotel and it was closed. We were a little tipsy and had the itch to take a few laps! Tipsy + swimming does not go together and I highly suggest people do NOT do it unless it was waist high.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than swimming in a pool on your own. Its the noise it makes. Love that soft splashing noise.
